Our web design philosophy is simple: design web sites that reflect the client and keep their customers coming back for more.

With our web design work, we are fortunate to work with clients of all types - from established national corporations to Nashville web site upstarts - each with a unique vision and way of presenting themselves. Our job is always to translate that message from a concept into web site design that represents both their style and clientele.

Take a few minutes to browse through our web design portfolio. Whether we're working with a Nashville web design client or one half-way across the continent, our emphasis on collaboration and open communication produces web sites that are attractive, intuitive and dynamic. Abbey Brown

Abbey Brown

Abbey Brown came to us with an e-commerce system that had completely deteriorated. With 40% of their business coming through online sales, they needed a solution that would accommodate their extensive and ever-changing product lines.

The site needed to hold over 300 products and address retail and wholesale customer bases. With a site this big, they ran the risk of overloading customers if it wasn’t designed to easily manage such a volume; additionally, they didn’t want to lose the charm and warmth that is the hallmark of their Chicago-based store.

In the end, we were able to condense their entire site (over 300 pages) into 4 main categories, with the products divided into distinct, easy to navigate sub-categories which allowed for a much friendlier shopping experience for the customer.

Botanical Concepts Chicago

Botanical Concepts Chicago

Denise Rosenbloom, owner of Botanical Concepts Chicago, came to us after a particularly sobering experience with another web design company. The over-use of Flash caused her site to perform poorly, both in search and in usability. Additionally, her site found it's way to Google's "potentially harmful websites" list, and visitors were shown warnings every time they visited her page.

The site needed a total overhaul in order to clean up the defects and prepare the site for search indexing. Our primary focus was to minimize the use of Flash throughout the site, clean the code and deliver a product that would be web standards compliant.

We were able to successfully condense the code, clean up the Flash, eradicate standards compliancy issues and keep the overall feel of the site while correcting all the errors.

Taylor Made Plans

Taylor Made Plans

As historic residential design experts, Taylor Made Plans needed a site that reflected the classic style and charm of its homes while remaining true to their long-established branding. Catching the user's eye and displaying great images of the homes was especially key to the site's design.

Our team took a broad approach to this project - from graphic design to coding to copywriting - to make sure the site reflected Lynn Taylor's style every step of the way. We also created templates to strengthen the branding for both Taylor Made Plans on Myspace as well as their email marketing efforts. With an e-commerce capability and a content management system that allows for easy updates, TaylorMadePlans.com is now one of Lynn's best marketing tools.

Forgotten But Not Gone

Forgotten But Not Gone

Forgotten But Not Gone is a CD project to raise money for ongoing hurricane relief efforts on the Gulf Coast. Many people are unaware that today, almost four years after the strike of Hurricane Katrina, tens of thousands of Gulf Coast Residents remain displaced from their homes. Experts predict it will be several more years before the needed rebuilding is complete.

The CD is a volunteer project of Gulf Coast Relief, Inc. All artists, songwriters, executive producers, record labels, and publishing companies have donated these performances.

We were approached by Shadow Lane Studios in Nashville, TN to help create a website that would portray the emotion of the record. Using the album artwork, some incredibly touching photos of New Orleans, the beautiful music and our talented team, we were able to create a beautiful website for this wonderful cause.

MyViolet

Miller Loughry Beach

Optimara Group, the largest distributor of African Violets in the United States, contacted us about building a new Social Networking site for African Violet lovers. With the perfect domain in hand, we set forth building MyViolet.com.

Special tags are attached to each African Violet Optimara distributes to stores all over the world. These tags provide a unique code that allows customers to log into MyViolet, upload photos and access an online plant diagnostic tool (Dr. Optimara).

Dr. Optimara was built much like a personal online health diagnostic (think WebMD for plants). After entering key symptoms, the diagnostic tool helps evaluate not only the health and condition of the plant but also the steps for bringing a Violet in poor health back to premium health. With Dr. Optimara, the company ensures the highest quality standard from their plants and offers every customer the unique advantage of purchasing a plant that comes with interactive support which is backed by years of research.

Pool and Spa Depot

Pool and Spa Depot

Pool and Spa Depot came to us after a particularly poor experience with another web design and online marketing company. It took a lot to salvage their view of our industry; however, with our focus on providing top quality service and commitment to making sure our work meets clients' expectations, we were able to restore our industry to good standing in their eyes.

We transitioned their site into a clean, easy to use resource for selling high-end recreation products and continually working with the Pool and Spa Depot team to find ways to promote specials and drive traffic to the site. Our work on Email Marketing and Pay-Per-Click campaigns has bolstered their online presence and strengthened the Pool and Spa Depot brand.

Wise-N-Greener

Wise-N-Greener

Wise-N-Greener is an organization dedicated to promoting products "that work for you and the environment." Their target audience is environmentally conscious consumers who may just need a little help finding green-friendly products and services.

We created a design that integrated the green movement but also set Wise-N-Greener apart. The users’ experience was key when planning the site – a clean, crisp design allows for easy access to an array of information without bogging down the easy navigation from review to review.

Country Universe

Country Universe

After several attempts to try and make pre-formatted themes work for their music news and reviews blog, the folks at CountryUniverse.net came to us with questions about how to make their site more contemporary and better for their loyal readership.

With thousands of articles already cataloged, utilizing their current WordPress blog set up was essential to the success of this project. By focusing on the client's wish for the site to have a more journalistic feel, our team pulled ideas from various news sites to create a layout that transitioned CountryUniverse.net from a standard blog to a dynamic, engaging news site.
